As a Lenovo Storage Sales Manager you will get engaged in promoting Lenovo Data Management solutions and products. You will work with CTOs, IT decision makers, Lenovo pre-sales and sales teams, with Lenovo partners and ISVs. You will report to : Storage Sales Director for EMEA. Your goal and target is to drive Lenovo’s data center opportunities through the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical requirements to building the solution. These are your detailed responsibilities: • Lead and nurture a winning international storage team • Develop an understanding of what drives a customer’s business and what motivates their decision making • Defining and identifying Data Management projects (on-prem, hybrid cloud and in public cloud) by acting as a trusted advisor to the allocated territory coverage • Developing a pipeline of new Software defined Datacenter and/or Storage infrastructure business within aligned territories • Bring to light the advantages of a Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions group (ISG) Storage / Data Management solution • Growing and maintaining customer relationships to Technical Director level and above. • Keeping customers and partners up to date with new technologies and innovations relevant to their industry • Identifying customer projects and interpreting their technical requirements • Build effective and valuable solutions working with the wider specialist product and technical community, the sales teams and business partners as appropriate, to support winning the business. • Lead and/or provide Technical Input to Tenders/ RFIs/RFPs • Gathers information to develop an accurate understanding of customer technology infrastructure • Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations with vigor to customers and lock in the technical win with clients and prospective accounts • Able to progress opportunities effectively, even autonomously • Delight customers, partners and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS and SAN product spaces #### Position Requirements: What you’ll bring: • Around 5-10 years of experience leading international sales teams, driving enterprise sales of Cloud, Converged solution (storage, networking, virtualization) and/or Storage solution to large enterprise accounts • Thorough understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of modern IT systems and cloud infrastructures • Ability to create and present Lenovo technical solutions to senior level clients within the customer and clearly articulate the technical value proposition to the customer • Commercial awareness of the local Competitive Market, business partner objectives and the customer industry environment, preferably in the storage market/industry • Able to develop SAN/NAS/Object Storage architectures dependent on the application or workload requirements • Demonstrable experience in any three of the following infrastructure technologies: o Enterprise Storage, including Software defined Storage (e.g., Pure, Dell, NetApp) o Vmware Virtualization (ESXi, vCloud Director, vRealize, vSAN) o Hybrid Cloud Technologies and Cloud Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) o All-Flash Storage o Software defined and Object Storage o Data Protection technologies • Verbal and written communication in English language What We Will Offer You: • An open and stimulating environment within one of the most forward thinking IT companies • Flat structures and fast decision-making processes • An international team with a high focus on Gender Diversity • Attractive compensation package We are looking forward to discussing this position with you soon!
