Storekeeper

Are you ready for your next career milestone? As a Storekeeper, you will monitor all goods movement; including food and beverage, stationery, other operating equipment, etc., in and out of the hotel and ensure that they are properly recorded.

What you will be doing:

  • Works in harmony with all hotel employees, maintains excellent relationships and professionalism among colleagues. Reports to and keeps the Purchasing Manager informed on all major operational matters
  • Treats all related departments as his internal customer & maintains good relationship with them
  • Ensures prompt, timely & accurate requisitioning and issue of stock to all department, as per their requirements.
  • Responsible for optimum stock levels, taking into consideration the usage and supply trends to ensure maximum inventory turnover.
  • Provides prompt and accurate information to all departments to help them plan optimum utilization of materials.
  • Assists Purchasing Manager in implementing inventory policy decisions that are consistent with realities of the hotel’s financial position.
  • Creates a healthy and fair atmosphere where personnel can work with maximum productivity and happily.
  • Responsible for maintenance of accurate records and updating.
  • Carry out any reasonable & lawful direct instruction given by a Head of Department / Assistant / Manager or Director during working hours

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Minimum of one year working experience in the same field
