Responsibilities
The S-ATS is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our industry-specific customers. They work exclusively to dissect the industry of a specific customer, map industry trends to the technical foundation, understand and translate where the customer wants to go, and orchestrate resources to make that vision a reality. Improvement is a given and disruption a must for the S-ATS. Their technical acumen and industry expertise enables the customer to do business like never before. They are members of a team that aspires for the line-of-business platform to be based on Microsoft Azure Cloud, Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, while simultaneously respecting legacy platforms as needed. The S-ATS reports to the Sales Manager and is the owner of the CIO/CTO relationship and contributor to the CEO/CFO relationship owned by their peer, the Strategic Account Executive.
Qualifications
DT Tech Strategy Leader
Define and lead joint Microsoft/Customer Digital Transformation Technology Strategy with CIO/CTO office of the customer
Master the customer’s industry and related scenarios and envisions the technology platform as the technical foundation of customer’s digital transformation
Act as a Virtual Trusted CTO of the customer who empowers customer’s CIO office to advance technology agenda as the key competitive advantage
Align with S-AE on DT Business strategy and contributes to the relationship with CEO/CFO
Chief Tech Mobilizer
Lead and orchestrate diverse technology teams from Microsoft, Partners, Customer to successfully deliver business outcomes
Articulate the business value of complex and heterogeneous technical architecture and maps it to the customer business outputs captured in the DT business strategy owned by S-AE
Anticipate technology utilization through key customer’s scenarios to help the sales process led by S-AE
Innovation advocate, constantly educates customer’s technical personal on technology futures to ensure customer’s preparation and readiness
Technical Architecture Owner
Own and lead the design and delivery of technical architecture that support customer’s business outcomes
Accelerate customer's success through new business capabilities delivered by technology
Anticipate the need for policy enablers and engage appropriate Microsoft and partner resources
Enables dynamic and adjustable architecture to maximize customer’s capabilities
Relationship Owner
Own CIO/CTO relationship and contributes to CIO/CFO relationship
Trusted Advisor to CxO executives
Educate and empower CIO/CTO office/contacts to drive DT vision
Map the technology-to-business value and articulates to CEO/CFO contacts
Orchestrate the impact of customers technology community to drive the process towards digital transformation
Technical Sales Leader
Lead the sales of Line of Business Platform and related industry solutions
Lead the sales of LOB platform based on Microsoft Azure as foundation for partner industry solutions
Monitor for specific upsell and cross sell opportunities to solidify Microsoft’s footprint in key industry scenarios
Articulate the RoI of LOB platform and solutions implementation
