Job Description

  • Improve the technology, affordability, and velocity of Intel's Design IP and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools and vendors
  • Lead cross-functional, cross-organizational, and industry teams through the sourcing, selection, delivery, support and end of life project cycles
  • Own and drive the vendor relationships and performance
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, business analysts, technical program managers, and other specialists from BU Research and Development engineering, TD, IT, Intel Capital, Finance, and Legal to synthesize technical, commercial, financial, and industry/market inputs into a cohesive multigeneration business strategy
  • Measure current performance, define future targets and goals, develop strategies, and execute improvement programs of Intel's Design IP and EDA supply chain
  • Perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities, such as consulting directly with Intel suppliers on tools, systems, quality and controls, services, or processes to improve their performance
  • Work on several projects and/or programs simultaneously, managing multiple stakeholders, conducting budget, business forecasting, constraint analysis, inventory analysis, Plan/POR, benchmarking and departmental indicators
  • Lead operational efficiency programs within IFS/PDE to maximize the efficacy of our business operations and processes


Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field of study
  • 8+ years of Design IP and/or EDA Industry experience or relevant supply chain management activities
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
  • M.B.A. preferred

IFS will be a world-class foundry business and a major US and European-based capacity provider to serve customers globally. We differentiate IFS with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe, plus a world-class IP portfolio including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric, and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions using industry-standard design packages. Intel dedicates IFS to the success of its customers with entire Profit and Loss responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement, and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today, starting with our existing foundry offerings. We are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.



Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
