The worldwide SMB ecommerce team in Lenovo is charged with developing and
building the short and long term strategy to drive the SMB ecommerce business
to new pinnacles of success. The SMB segment is Lenovo ecommerce’s largest and
most profitable segment. This is a high performance team recognized at the
highest levels in Lenovo. SMB Ecommerce teams ideates new business ideas and
creates the strategic and executional go to market plans to bring them to
market. The initiatives can range from new products and services, improvements
to the user experience, new marketing programs, partnerships and/or add new
benefits for our customers to further accelerate our growth and vision. These
are high visibility roles which interface across the large ecommerce team
globally. We are given the freedom to dream big and then bring these to
realities.
• Lead, identify and build a pipeline of strategic partnerships to accelerate
the SMB ecommerce business growth.
• SMB Partnerships will aim to accelerate our revenue and registration growth
by leveraging partnerships to expand our product portfolio, unlocking new
experiences via technology, expanding our reach through partner member bases,
and much more.
• Build turn key partnership programs to enable multiple partner engagement.
• Build phenomenal pitch decks, develop new business models and create
thorough business cases
• Collaborate with regional LenovoPRO teams to execute partnerships and be the
project management lead for each global SMB partnership project.
• Responsible for partnering with legal teams and leading the contract process
for each new partnership.
• Manage end to end the entire lifecycle of each partnership including
identifying, building, launching and post launch performance tracking
• Regular reporting on partnership performance to organization.
• Handles partnerships requests
• Implements policies and defines approach to strategy achievement for
strategic partnerships. Analyzes long-term impact of new or anticipated
strategies and decisions.
#### Position Requirements:
• At least 5 years experience in leading and managing strategic partnerships
or business development.
• Partnership experience working within high tech space preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Capable of driving complex strategic conversations with executive decision-
makers, and can juggle a large number of tasks at once.
• Strong internal and external presentation skills and great interpersonal,
relationship management skills.
• Analytical ability to drive strong commercial outcomes for both Lenovo and
our partners
• Expertise developing business cases, financial analysis and modeling, and
familiarity with legal agreement
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and multitask with excellent
organizational skills
• Business and technical acumen to be able to understand, evaluate, and
communicate the benefits of our LenovoPRO store
• Comfortable with a fast-paced and matrixed environment
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle
uncertainty and ambiguity
