Objective of job
Take responsibility of developing mid and long term volume planning for MB PC cars in Mainland China as a basis for all product projects, production planning and purchasing, etc, which includes SP Type-Class Planning , SP Engine Planning for both ICE and NEV as well as a long term forecast for premium brands in TOP20 market based on trends of economy development, government regulations, market demands and competitive envirorment.
Support to ensure the development of strategies for optimum exploitation of the existing and future MB PC market potentials. Develop volume scenarios for strategic discussions.
Strategic business analysis (Marco environment, NEV market, competition, etc.)

Strategic Volume Planning
-Develop forecast of industry trend of luxury passenger vehicle market, new energy vehicle market and each MBC segment
-Develop annual volume planning for all Mercedes Benz cars (incl. AMG and e-mobility) for the next 10 years, on type-class level and type/engie level based on segment forecast and short-term sales planning and also product premises
-Communicate/coordinate the SP volume planning with the related stakeholders incl. presentation preparation and decision assurance by Top management
-Continuous process optimization of the planning process, incl. BI tools

Strategic Business Analysis
-Take responsibility of volume planning and updates for new and running strategic product projects (MB, AMG and e-mobility) and ensure its alignment with the overall portfolio strategy
-Evaluate and support strategic product to ensure future competitiveness of product portfolio in China
-Support in the portofolio strategy development for MB PC in China market and ensure a optimum exploitation of the existing and future MB PC market potentials
-Coordinate and obtain information from relevant teams on competititor product planning information
-Steer and conduct continually market observation and analysis

NEV Premise Setting
-Coordinate NEV premise setting and CAFC/NEV credit calculation
-Monitor latest NEV policy development
-Obtain NEV & CO2 compliance premise update as the foundation for strategic projects and manage the alignment with related stakeholders
