Senior Strategic Planning Manager

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of vision and strategic objectives for ADC China in the next 3-5 years, and delineate key strategic imperatives to achieve the vision
    • Work with marketing teams to analyze policy and regulation impact (e.g., Healthy China 2030, reforms, etc.)
    • Understand market trends, competition, customer needs to help develop solutions and capture growth opportunities
  • Work with cross functional leaders, prioritize key growth opportunities and resource requirements, and develop concrete yearly action plans
  • Drive external partnerships and business development opportunities, to expand our presence and share of voice in the market
  • Support new product planning and portfolio strategy for China
  • Work as the key bridging touch point between Finance and Commercial teams, and support optimizing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes for China
  • Work closely with commercial teams and supporting functions, to address business needs by effectively navigating organization resources at the Country, Area, and Global levels
  • Other projects as assigned, including engagement with external consultancies, agencies, and so on

Minimum Education Required:

  • BA/BS in business or science / engineering
  • Higher degree and/or MBA from top-tier school will be an added advantage

    Minimum Experience Required:

  • 4+ years of working experience in  top tier consulting firms (Mckinsey, BCG, Bain), or Project Mananger role in tier 2 consulting firms (LEK, IMS consulting, Strategy &, etc.)
  • Work experience in multi-national company(ies), in Strategic Planning, in a plus
  • Experience in healthcare and/or consumer goods is required
  • Strong project management skills, with proven capabilities in driving the initiation and full implementation of strategic projects
