BCG Digital Ventures invents, builds, scales and invests in startups with the world's most influential companies. Embedded in the local People & Talent team, you will be the go-to-partner for DV’s leadership team to understand individual preferences and career recommendations. As Strategic Resource Planner/ Staffing Specialist (m/f/x) you will be key to staffing your colleagues to build game-changing ventures in the digital space. This includes staffing for internal projects and other opportunities. You will also collaborate with your global counterparts on a regular basis.

What you will do: 

• Advise leadership and our ventures’ General Managers to assemble interdisciplinary venture teams that can deliver successfully on desired build and outcomes.
• Coordinate with others in the team as inputs into appropriate technical & design talent needs and recommendations.
• Liaise with global DV and BCG staffing teams to utilize cross-office staffing to add to venture teams for gaps, expertise or other relevant cross-office staffing needs.
• Align with HR Business Partners and Cohort leads to understand individual preferences and career development needs including staffing on internal projects or other learning opportunities.
• Keep staffing business system up-to-date and provide (ad-hoc) reporting requests on staffing demand and availability as needed.

What we look for: 

• Relevant experience in the capacity of Staffer, Resource Planner, Workforce Planner in a client-focused business, preferably from an agency or consulting/professional services company.
• Empathetic communicator with good understanding for both sides of the coin: business demands and the individual’s preferences.
• Experience in liaising with key decision makers.
• Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills and an analytical mindset. Experience with resource planning software (e.g. Retain, Float, Hub Planner, customized software) is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
