As part of Intel's Data Platform Group, the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Strategic Product Planning Group plays a key role in partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization.
The Strategic Software Planner role requires a combination of business acumen, organization understanding, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The Strategic Software Planner runs certain strategic processes, visits customers, and influences the organization via these processes. Activities include running component, ingredient, platform or initiative planning processes, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in multiple strategic task forces.
Areas of responsible for this role include, but not limited to the following:
Generate structured Product Requirements for specific features based upon feedback from customers, internal teams and PSG business partners
Drive research projects to uncover competitive situations, industry and business trends, customer satisfaction and others
Participate in design flow usability and other strategic task forces
Network with Business Stakeholders to continuously drive customer requirements into the product definitions and FPGA EDA Design Flow and solutions roadmap
Contribute into functional areas of EDA Design Flow roadmap, including customer validation and communication of the roadmap both within Intel and key customers

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant FPGA design, product planning/management, customer support or technical marketing experience inclusive of:
Experience with FPGA development flows including Verilog/VHDL/System Verilog coding, FPGA design tools, design optimization, timing closure, debugging, verification and validation
Experience interacting with customers
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience using FPGAs
Experience with product management, planning or technical marketing
Knowledge in FPGA architecture and/or EDA tools
Experience in driving successful innovation products and influencing product strategy
Experience in participating in cross functional teams

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$85,420.00-$136,400.00
