Product Management Intern We are seeking a motivated Product Management Intern for Siemens Digital Industries Software. The Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio enables customers to build a comprehensive digital twin, which blurs the boundaries between virtual and physical, hardware and software, as well as design and manufacturing worlds. This position is for Siemens Mentor IC (formerly known as Mentor) the leading provider of electronic design automation software that allows customers to develop most cost-effective electronics systems, components and products. The Siemens Mentor IC product portfolio includes an array of world-class solutions that enable faster time-to-market and increased flexibility for semiconductor companies to realize innovation with first silicon success targeted for Cloud, mobile, HPC and mission critical applications. We seek a passionate individual with a good understanding of semiconductor industry trends. Come and gain practical hands-on experience with high quality EDA products while setting yourself up with knowledge for a potential full-time role after graduation. You will gain the ability to work within a fast moving, startup environment in a large company. This internship can be a steppingstone into RD in Semiconductor Manufacturing SW and Machine Learning for Semiconductor Manufacturing. A RD engineer is the primary SW developer for their product area. Their goal is to develop SW using ML techniques to solve several manufacturing related issues. This position is a support role for existing SW engineers and SW architects. The intern will interact with product engineering, R&D to gain both what are the requirements coming from product development groups and details of highly parallel ML based SW. This position is for the Calibre business unit of Siemens Mentor IC. In this role you will proactively: Support SW development engineers/architects in various activities Experiment/prototype with several ML techniques on a set of Semi manufacturing related problems Develop high-quality testing content (e.g., test data, test harness environment) Research/read/summarize several ML related papers in the field or in general ML areas Organization Requirements: Currently enrolled in a graduate degree at an accredited university with a background in electrical engineering or computer engineering Understanding of integrated circuits and their verification methodologies is a strong plus Understanding of EDA technologies is a strong plus Strong verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail Good time management, planning and organization skills Ability to think outside the box to locate complicated problems to solve Commanding grasp of Microsoft office tools #LI-Remote Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Inc.
