VSD FPGA Prototyping Engineer Intern The Validation Systems Division (VSD) organization creates software/hardware products for computer aided engineering. VSD focuses on enterprise-level FPGA prototyping solution that combines industry-leading runtime performance with fast prototype bring-up. tackles flow simulation as well as thermal, structural, acoustic, and composite analysis. The role will cover Siemen’’s HAV products (Prototyping and Emulation). Responsibilities: Developing automated testing on project code Capturing performance metrics of numerous protocol solutions provided by Siemens EDA (PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.) using our HAV products Testing and qualifying our various applications from our tool flow Be part of a team to compile and target different FPGA strategies on real world designs Defining and implementing cable solutions for our enterprise-level FPGA prototyping platform Drafting design and coding documentation for future development expansion Organization Requirements: Studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering CS/CE students must have strong coding skills in C++ or JAVA with knowledge in object-oriented concepts Commanding grasp of C#, Python, VBA, JavaScript, or Perl is beneficial Write clean, robust, and maintainable code Demonstrate skills in design and programming Rapid learner in new development areas Dedicated to continuous improvement Inspires collaboration Exceptional communication skills Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Inc.
