EDA develops and manufactures emulators for functional verification of System-on-Chip circuit designs. In emulation systems, custom software compiles a circuit design's high-level description into a low-level binary representation that can be loaded and run on the emulation hardware. The individual that fills this position will become a member of the Test Engineering team, developing production testing for Siemens next generation emulators. The QA / Test Engineer will perform production functional product testing, review, and disposition of test data. The QA / Test Engineer will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering on feasibility and functional requirements studies for functional test routines, focusing on achieving quality results. This includes developing production test infrastructure to repair, replace, or de-bug test fixture, chassis test, system integration test, and server/network issues. Required Skills: BS, MS, or junior/senior level undergraduate students in Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering Software proficiency: Linux, scripting (Python, Shell), Java, HTML/CSS Experience with Object-Oriented Programming Excel both in a team-oriented development and working independently Desired Skills: Working knowledge of various data collection tools Strong teamwork, effective problem solving and sound decision making Carry out precise instructions and interpretation of electrical schematics Ability to document and present results Ability to identify root cause issues with program development in a manufacturing environment Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software Inc.
