Software Development Intern As an intern in the Digital Verification Technology (DVT) Questa Sim Competitive Engagement team, you will develop tools and solutions that give DVT Questa and our customers a competitive advantage over the competition. You will work with an experienced team of software development professionals to prototype solutions to difficult problems. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, modify, and implement products for customers and internal use. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. You will document software requirements, use model, and implementation for new tools and complex workflows. You will participate in group meetings, present ideas, and report results. Projects will focus on following main disciplines: Questa Development Platform Building and supporting Linux based C/C++ applications Developing software components on the Questa platform. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) environment Organization Requirements: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or a master’s degree, in Computer Science Basic Linux and Windows Knowledge C Shell and Bourne Shell commands and scripts Scripting Languages (Python and Perl) C Language Programming Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithm required. SQL Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) Experience with Software development tools: Compiler, Linker, IDE, GDB, DDD Passionate, driven, and proactive Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective organizational and time management skills Desire to continuously improve and learn about new areas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Inspires collaboration Optional requirements: Experience with Verilog/VHDL verification language is preferred Machine Learning Experience Parallel programing The hourly range for this position is $$22.00 - $50.00 per hour.
