This individual will be working on a development team focused on the creation and evolution of a range of services for internal and external consumers. The ideal candidate will have had experience developing web applications utilizing AWS cloud services using JavaScript, NodeJS and React. Responsibilities: Develop frontend web applications using JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS and Preact Develop server-side web applications or APIs Design and deploy web applications using Cloud-based components such as AWS Cloud Formation, Lambda, S3, SNS, API Gateway and DynamoDB Build or configure monitoring and alerting of frontend and server-side applications and infrastructure Implement unit tests and conduct code reviews with other team members to ensure code is properly designed, developed for scale, and tuned for performance needs. Collaborate closely with other engineers, engineering managers, business analysts and product owners to deliver cloud-based solutions that meet our marketing and sales objectives.Skills: Develop rich client-side web experiences using HTML, CSS and Javascript/Typescript, including libraries and frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular JS and Vue JS Build backend software in one of the following programming languages: Python, Java or NodeJS and frameworks such as ExpressJS Use Version Control Systems (VCS) and build CI/CD pipelines Write unit tests to ensure code quality Preferred Skills: The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00 Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
