Job Description

As a Strategic Technical and Business Development Manager, for the advanced heterogeneous integrated packaging organization within the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG), you will define and translate requirements from both government, Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and commercial customers to Intel engineering teams for silicon topology and packaging requirements.

In this role you will leverage your technical knowledge to evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. You will identify and design business models, drive opportunity pipelines, and develop winning opportunity proposals to drive long term business objectives.

Additionally, you will oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. You will provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives and help define the vision, strategies, and tactics.

This role is an Individual Contributor who will use their strong influencing skills with a mix of business development, technical expertise, and business acumen to partner with Sales, Marketing, vertical Business Groups, Applications Engineering Group, Engineering and Operations to evaluate and propose technical solutions, and aid in the development of the long-term business model.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of working experience in semiconductor (ASICs, GPUs, SoC, CPU, Systems, FPGAs, CPLDs, Data Converters, etc.) or related high-tech industry. Experience should include a technical business-related role (e.g. technical sales, technical marketing, technical business development, etc.)

  • Must be willing to travel (~10%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MAG (military, aerospace, government, defense) and/or wireless infrastructure segments and solutions is a plus

  • Experience with crafting business term sheets and contractual agreements is a plus

  • Direct experience with FPGAs is a plus

  • Experience building ecosystems/partnerships
