Your Role

The Data Science Manager will serve as a principal liaison and strategic advisor for clients in Data & AI. As the lead on consulting engagements, the role involves driving the development and implementation of innovative data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. You will advise on and orchestrate the effective use of data science, AI, and related technologies to derive meaningful insights and tangible value from clients' solutions. Beyond offering advice, the Data Science Manager is also an active participant, steering operations to ensure client objectives are met efficiently and successfully.

Your thought leadership will empower clients to harness their untapped potential, cultivating their data through leading-edge technologies. But your role extends beyond advising - you'll be an orchestrator of success, actively steering operations to turn clients' visions into reality. From consultation to execution, you'll set the path towards value creation, embodying the pivotal role of advisor, and operator.

Here are just a few of your day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting engagements involving advanced analytics, data science, machine learning and AI, working closely with clients to identify business problems and develop solutions that leverage data science and AI techniques.

  • Be able to articulate the business value of data science, advanced analytics and AI to senior stakeholders and drive data-driven changes in organizations.

  • Bring thought leadership to clients around Generative AI (GenAI) and ability to communicate the value, responsibility, and execution of GenAI across multiple industries.

  • Work with clients to understand how data science and AI can help their businesses, working across industry sectors (e.g., Banking, Insurance, Retails & FMCG, or travel and hospitality industries)

  • Manage a team of data scientists and other technical professionals, ensuring that they have the resources, support, and guidance they need to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and helping them to understand the value of data science and AI for their business.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in data science and AI and identify opportunities to apply new techniques and tools to client engagements.

  • Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, to a high standard, and within budget.

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and help to shape the go-to-market strategy for data science and AI consulting services.
