EY Strategy and Transactions helps client to work more efficiently and effectively, ensuring their long-term health by raising, preserving, investing and optimizing capital. As an EY transaction professional, you will be able to work with the world’s largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border engagements in the global market. You will help those clients to make a better and more informed decisions about how they strategically manage capital and transactions in a changing world. That means advising businesses on how they preserve, optimize, raise and invest their capital to help them achieve their strategic objectives.

Senior Associate

Requirements

  • Minimum university  degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in securities companies, investment bank, other big 4 companies or corporate finance role in a company.
  • Professional qualifications, such as CFA, CPA, FRM would be key advantages
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
  • Possessed strong analytical and structured thinking process, as well as demonstrate good commercial thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skill with the ability to deal with people from all level professionally
  • Experience in business integrations, acquisitions, divestitures and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Having the ease to work effectively under pressure and to meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, both verbal and written

 

Responsibility

  • Provide guidance to junior team members in conducting market research, developing information memorandum and other relevant documentations to support a successful transaction
  • Develop financial model and projections, to value a business and/or projects and provide meaningful analysis to the client and to support client’s transaction
  • Develop a feasible transaction structure for the proposed transaction, considering commercial, tax and regulatory aspects
  • Provide commercial inputs and work together with the legal consultant in developing transaction documents
  • Work with other EY service line domestically (i.e consulting, tax and assurance) and cross border to deliver an integrated service to clients
  • Support senior team member in developing pitch document, origination of M&A, fund raising and pre-IPO activities
  • Drive and support end-to-end transaction cycle, to ensure completion of the proposed transaction

 

Manager

Requirements

  • Experience in leading a team in business integrations, acquisitions, divestitures and/or carve-outs and fund raising activity
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
  • Possessed strong analytical and structured thinking process, as well as demonstrate good commercial thinking and business acumen
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skill with the ability to deal with people from all level professionally
