Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
- As a stream leader for the ERP Implementation, you will help to shape Avery Dennison Labels and Material Group for the future. You will work with a team composed of some of the most talented individuals to lead a process transformation that will enable our future success.
- You will lead a team and influence across functions as a part of this project.
- This role is full time and requires a high level of commitment, a minimum of 2-3 years should be assumed as the anticipated term of engagement.
- Preferred location is Gurgaon and/or Kunshan. Open to consider other APAC locations, based on skill set.
- In the first 12 months you will help create an optimized and standardized approach in the Customer Service (CS) organization across APAC. You will drive the change management and redesign of the CS role to provide more proactive commercial support for our customers.
- You will be reporting to the Business Transformation Leader - APAC.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Successfully lead the commercial stream partnering with internal teams and our external partners ( SI)
- Lead the implementation of Commercial processes 1> Sales Contract Management (Creating Customer Contracts/Approval/ Monitoring/Amending/closing) 2> Order Management (Manage Sales Order/order promising/Pricing/order returns) and other related commercial processes in our future ERP System in close partnership with the customer service organizations
- Drive successful integration of boundary commercial systems (e.g. Pricefx, SF.com CRM, Customer Portal, Datasheets etc) with the future ERP System.
- Ensure IT delivers solutions for future end to end process using appropriate staffing – System Integrator, functional leads and subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Manage the Commercial stream - resources, delivery, quality, timeline, benefits etc. You will directly lead a team consisting of full-time and/or part-time functional SMEs. .
- Produce Commercial stream deliverables, per program milestones and timeline
- Manage a scope, quality and timeline, and ensure defined business benefits are enabled and delivered
- Support cross-stream activities and communication to ensure robust integrated solution
- Lead and facilitate processes standardization across countries in scope and adopt best practices in future ERP
- Facilitate completeness of process solution with process streams (e.g. Operations Supply Chain, Finance etc) with inclusion of all financial threads including satisfying audit requirements
- Create, transfer and train users in the new way of working, incorporating rigor and world class KPIs
- Ensure understanding and compliance with commercial processes including relevant education within Organization Change Management (OCM) and Business Intelligence (BI) teams
- Also support ERP program management activities, such as:
- Support AFE creation process
- Manage Program Business Case - Ensure benefits in the business case are baselined and measurable with commitments to tracking and realizing the benefits
- Monitor streams to ensure benefit enablers are identified
- Work with executives and stream leaders to define metrics and tracking mechanisms for benefits
- Support ongoing status tracking and reporting of the Finance process stream
- Support creation of end user training materials, functional standard operating procedures and other necessary supporting documents
In the first 12 months there will be a strong focus on creating the ONE APAC Customer Service Approach.
- You will work with the Sub-region Customer Service Managers in identifying the bottlenecks, pain points, barriers that contribute to inefficiencies for the CS Team.
- You will support identifying what enablers can be developed & implemented at a region wide level (i.e. processes, new tools and automation) to bring productivity gains for the CS Team.
- You will work in a project team incorporating HR, SC & CS leads to drive the change management and sponsored by Country Commercial Leaders and the CX Director (APAC)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- Experience in Commercial and Service Environments (Sales, Marketing, Customer service)
- Previous master data management experience and/or similar role is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to solve problems
- Systems thinker with a strong process orientation
- Recognized for ability to creatively find solutions
- Ability to rapidly and continually engage key resources/stakeholders for their input
- Appetite for change, desire to optimize LGM Transformation.
- We are looking for individuals who desire to become a future functional leader, who are outstanding communicators, who are decisive, resilient and flexible.
- Proficient in English
- Travel within the APAC regions required during planning, design, execution and deployment phases, if and when possible
