SCAD seeks a Student Success Adviser to act as the primary contact for a cohort of undergraduate students and assist them in the successful completion of their educational programs. In this role, you will help students answer financial aid and billing questions, select their majors, plan class schedules, connect with SCAD resources and understand policies and procedures.

As a Student Success Adviser, you will also provide proactive student outreach and deliver services and programs designed to support the SCAD mission and ensure a high-quality student-centered education.

Working independently and as part of a team, the ideal candidate is able to meet deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with staff and faculty across departments. Excellent organizational as well as written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience in advising, financial aid or counseling in higher education is preferred.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred
• One to three years of experience in student affairs, higher education or a related field
• Ability to use TouchNet, SCADPro, Cognos and advising and financial screens in Banner
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
