At Intel, we create world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth. We are looking for a Student Supply Chain Analyst within the Intel Global Logistics Organization. Key functions include (but are not limited to): leading freight cost savings initiatives through in-depth analysis of the global Intel supply chain, identify improvements based on understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies, lead cross-functional teams involving various improvement activities. Must possess high tolerance of ambiguity, ability to properly prioritize workload, work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage stakeholders, data analytics, external benchmarking and system enhancements.
Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree in information technology, supply chain or Data Analytics. Ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Ability to communicate effectively, Problem solving and capacity to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Ability to operate in a highly matrix, dynamic environment, develop effective relationships for achieving key deliverables. Ability to work in a flexible, continually changing environment with off hours meeting flexibility and occasional international travel. Adaptability and sense of urgency.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, and/or work experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must be an active student and have at least 70 percent of advanced Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
6+ months of Supply chain experience in transportation or warehousing.
Analytical and data mining skills including proficiency with Excel, SQL, Access, Python and/or Power BI.
Financial acumen and possess strong desire to learn global transportation Industry.
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Intermediate to advanced English level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Licenciatura or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
