Who are we?

Intel EGI develops the next generation of high-performance long-range LIDAR systems for autonomous vehicles.

The project involves cutting edge electro-optic modules, HW, VLSI, mechanics, SW FW and Algorithms.

We are looking for a student for lab and field experiments for the LIDAR validation team.

What will you do?

Perform Lab and field experiments based on a protocol Perform analysis on experiment results

Document and trace experiment results

Be able to debug experimental setupUtilize 3D point cloud data and benchmark performance both in the lab and in the field.

Analyze results and be able to define challenging working conditions

Compare results with ground truth in order to root cause based on raw data

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Student toward Bsc in Computer Science/Electrical engineering/ Mechanical engineering/ Mathematics/ Physics (An advantage for students in Electo-Optic major)
• Deep knowledge and experience with Matlab
• Willingness for considerable hands-on work in lab and field
• Valid driving license

Advantage:

• Knowledge in Point Cloud Data analytic SW
• Knowledge in DGPS systems
