Mission:

The Studio Production Manager has a transversal role to ensure the studio has an efficient production environment to guarantee projects will be delivered on time, on budget and with the required quality.

In close collaboration with all producers, the production services and the studio operations, the Studio Production Manager will drive production excellence initiatives to improve production practices, promote knowledge sharing, grow our production expertise, share best practices, and ensure a constant follow up on production.

As part of the studio leadership, the Studio Production Manager will ensure alignment of the production strategy with the studio strategic plan and will own the production roadmap.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
 

• Initiate and animate the production management community to facilitate information flow, knowledge sharing & best practices.
• Regularly gather production data and information on projects and communicate that information using various channels.
• Support producers with production organization, methods, and milestones preparation.
• In close collaboration with the MD, elaborate the studio production strategy & roadmap with various scenarios.
• Prepare the studio business plan (BP) with the MD, HR and Finance.
• Coordinate staffing & recruitment plans according to studio strategy and priorities.
• Maintain relationships with collaboration partners across Ubisoft to communicate progress, risks and mitigation plans on projects undertaken by the Studio.
• ·Share and collect experience with the global production community and other studio production managers.
• Bring synergies between Chinese production studios.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE EQUIPPED WITH:

• Degree in Project Management/Administration or equivalent industry experience
• Strong knowledge of project management methods in game development
• A true team player than can deal with ambiguous situations and resolve blockers with creative solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Shipped multiple games in a leadership role
• Passion for games and strong knowledge of the gaming industry
