The learning Technology Management team is a newly established group that sits in Process Quality and Learning  within Development Operations at AstraZeneca.

The Study Specific Training LTP will be responsible for outlining the process for the oversight and documentation of study specific trainings to ensure inspection readiness. Currently the oversight of study specific training is not centralized and is not documented through our learning management system. The LTP for study specific training will lead the effort of outlining the migration of study specific trainings that need to be documented into the LMS and outline the strategy for the ongoing maintenance and tracking of these trainings.

Job Specific General Accountabilities

  • Responsible for outlining a project plan for the migration of study specific trainings into the learning management system
  • Outlines and maintains the strategy for the documentation and oversight of study specific training
  • Coordinates work of Saba (LMS) and Veeva Clinical Vault team to establish connection between both systems to automate study specific trainings
  • Partners with a specific function in R&D to provide expertise and consultation on learning technology implementation solutions for the creation of learning plans and GCP  (good clinical practices) training implementation
  • Pro-actively provides training metrics to dedicated function, which drive the quality vision, and compliance
  • Responsible for the stakeholder management of Business Learning Leads for the function they are responsible for
  • Understands business needs and ensures system and business process owners understands requirements with applicable GCP regulation
  • Works closely with Learning Technology Specialist to implement learning technology solutions in the system and maintain oversight of learning plans and GCP training
  • Drives radical simplification and improved user experience in collaboration with system and business process owner, which will include proposed and improved design for business processes and / or creation of proper interfaces solutions
  • Supports audits/inspections directly or via System administrators
  • Leads/actively works with user groups to support and facilitate smooth business practices
  • Accountable for system compliance according to internal frame work and external requirements
  • Maintains knowledge and compliance to relevant regulation, policies, standards, SOPs and guidelines

Essential

  • Degree level education
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of the clinical trial process
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills
  • Proven expertise in learning technology management systems
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Innovative thinker who is not afraid to think outside the box
  • Strong collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills – curious to understand business environment
  • Skilled at managing & using technology

  • PMP certification
