a. Critical Competency / 关键能力

• Proficient knowledge of spoken and written English. German is a plus.

• Good communication skills and Teamwork spirit

• Good organization and problem solving skills

• Technical knowledge in Product and Process Development and within the own area of responsibility

• Deep knowledge of activities involved in Vehicle’s Styling development: creative sketches and renderings, digital surfacing, scale model making (clay and hard). All for exterior and interior.

• Be able to share our knowledge with other members of the team

b. Required Education & Experience / 教育背景及工作经验

• At least bachelor degree in engineering

• At least 5 years related working experience in styling activities related to vehicle’s product development

• Background in Class A Surface / CAS with at least 3/4 years experience

• Knowledge of ICEM Surf is essential and experience in CATIA and Alias is a distinct advantage

c.Main Tasks & Responsibility主要任务和职责

• Project execution:

• Technical leading of the team and supporting assigned project manager

• Issue instructions to Team working in vehicle’s styling development activities

• Identify and assess external suppliers for the different activities (creative design, digital surfacing and scale models)

• Define and manage workload for the different Suppliers involved in a project

• Direct technically the work of suppliers and supporting organizational aspects

• Make work assignments, set or negotiate deadlines and completion dates in agreement with the Customer Project manager and project deliverables

• Review and accept, amend or reject work done by suppliers in agreement with the Customer Project manager and project deliverables

• Take performance-based corrective actions

• Create and implement work directives and guidelines for the Team (internal and external)

• Schedule for working team in line with project planning

• Sales:

• Supports (technical) sales of the specific field/cost center

• Make quotation for incoming RFQ

• Improve the customer relationship

• Project execution

  Other tasks assigned by the superior
