Job Description

The Microsoft 365 Compete & Programs team in US Marketing & Operations runs the marketing and sales programs for sellers and partners to allow them to deliver differentiated business value to customers more quickly and easily.

 

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead Marketing & Sales Automation. Someone with a passion for technology and ability to translate customer, field and partner feedback into business and technical requirements to make our internal tools and processes better. Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop the strategy for landing marketing content and sales programs across various communication vehicles and sales tools, and partner with marketing, sales and partner teams to execute and track performance against business goals.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Marketing Content Integration
    • Define strategy to deliver the right content at the right time to a seller
    • Partner with product teams to deliver on plans to integrate Security, Compliance and Teams content across various seller tools such as MSX Content
    • Evolve marketing content approach from reactive to proactive, including anticipating seller need for content based on sales play
  2. Sales Automation
    • Increase seller time spent with customers by aligning sales motions and sales enablement tools
    • Drive engagement with marketing operations and engineering to automate internal processes required to land customer immersion experiences and proof of concepts
    • Track performance of sales tools and provide visibility across worldwide engineering teams to align on technical work to prioritize
  3. Readiness & Program Management
    • Drive sales team adoption of Marketing Content Integration and Sales Automation
    • Partner across marketing, sales and transformation teams to leverage a Microsoft 365 common rhythm and standardize on communication vehicles such as Landing Framework and US Playbook
    • Create a feedback loop to collect field and customer insights that will help determine content gaps, improvement areas and growth opportunities

Qualifications

Qualifications are:

  • 3-5 years of product marketing or program management experience with a proven track record of delivering tangible business results
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, collaborate effectively and lead virtual teams
  • Ability to translate qualitative feedback into actionable business and technical requirements
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous business situations
  • A passion for technology and sales with the ability to clearly articulate solutions in a business and customer-centric manner; knowledge of Microsoft 365 value proposition and business preferred
  • Ability to view a business holistically end-to-end across Marketing, Sales and Partner
