Product Marketing Manager – D365 | CPE Compete & Field Landing

The Microsoft US Marketing and Operations Organization (MSUS M&O) is looking for you to lead Microsoft’s next wave of growth, capture market share, and drive digital transformation for our US customers in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business.

The Customer & Compete PMM will focus across three areas; Customer & Partner Experience (CPE), Compete and Field Landing. This role will identify trends, translate into meaningful market and customer insights, develop robust plans to address growth opportunities and challenges, as well as remove sales blockers to help the US to accelerate grow revenue and market share. In this role, you will be the voice of the field, competition, customer, and partners to the US and WW BG. You will also be the key to enabling our field to compete more effectively to win share of market and share of wallet.

- Create, build, and deploy a robust compete program for the Dynamics 365 business in the US Subsidiary. This program will span segments and competitors. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Benchmark and learn from external and internal best practices.
- Develop a listening system to gather feedback from the market, customers, and the field on why we win, why we lose and what we can do to be even more effective. This includes proactively monitoring the internal and external environment to anticipate opportunities.
- This real time signal on the relative strength of our value propositions, offerings, GTM, sales capability, partner ecosystem, etc should be translated into actionable insights to either pivot what isn’t working or scale programs and practices that are.
- Provide market and competitive insights and a proactive approach to arm and enable our sellers to win against our competitors.
- Seeks and seizes new opportunities and follows through to create impact tied to scorecard goals.
- Leverage WW and BG compete resources to further develop a Compete SWAT community for our sellers to tap into reactively and proactively.
- Develop deep partnerships with the Dynamics segment leaders and partner lead to gather insights on our delivery of a positive Customer and Partner Experience. Identify gaps, deep insights on why, and potential areas of improvement. Architect solutions in partnership with BG PMM’s and other stakeholders
- Create and land contest proposals through partnership with the segment leaders, PMMs, and US M&O to deliver energizing and engaging contest that exceed the ROI from programs.
- Test and measure effectiveness of launch of programs with the field, ensuring they land and deliver the expected benefit
- Partner with peers to ensure communication and sales enablement is streamlined, simple, and effective
Qualifications
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing and/or sales required.
- Direct Field or Partner experience
- Competitor experience a plus
- Cross segment experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven strength in positions of sales, technical and/or change leadership
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of D365 all workloads is preferred.
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
- Is self-aware and has negotiation and conflict-management skills
- Creative problem solver and thrives in ambiguous challenges
- Results oriented team player who leads by example, holds him or herself accountable for performance, and takes absolute ownership
- Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs
- Experience in working with clients at the CXO levels with deep impact in industries is a plus
