If you really want to make a difference - make it with us Meeting the need of Electrical Substation Design Engineer (Primary) for EHV Substation projects in Siemens Energy: Your new role - exciting and future-oriented We are looking for Electrical Design Engineer for detail engineering of EHV AIS GIS substations with min. 6-8 years of experience. Location: Kalwa, Navi Mumbai Brief Job Responsibilities: 1. Design and Engineering of Primary & Secondary systems of GIS and AIS Substations projects for voltage level of 66 kV to 765kV. 2. Shall be well versed with control and protection drawings for various configurations of Bus bar schemes. 3. Shall have knowledge of SAS architecture/schemes and Hardware. 4. Shall be well versed with the various types of protection relays of Major manufacture Viz Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider, NR electric etc. 5. Should be able to prepare SLD, Protection Block diagram/PSLD, interlocking logics and have basic knowledge of HV equipment’s. 6. Shall be able to carry out Co-ordination with Primary equipment, FAT and commissioning activities. 7. Shall be able to prepare CT \ VT sizing, earthing, lighting, lightning protection, SCF, Conductor/Tube sizing and Battery and charger Sizing calculations. 8. Shall be able to prepare the cable schedule and inter-connection schedule. 9. Shall be able to check the vendor drawings during execution stage. 10.Shall have Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. IEC, ANSI etc, 11. AIS/GIS Plant Layout, BOM of equipment & lot items, Primary Engineering like Layouts, SLD, clearance diagram, EKD, Earthing layout, Equipment Earthing drawings, Trench, Control Room, Lightning protection layout, Lighting layout. 12. Preparing civil and Mechanical Interface drawings. 13. Able to prepare drawings as per project requirement. 14. Engineering support for pre-bid and post bid enquiries. 15. Site/customer visit for tender estimation as well as project execution. Qualifications: BE in Electrical Engineering Expertise in Software: AutoCAD, E-Tap, MS office, MS projects.
