Summer Event Signature Character Actor

Do you want to light up summer for our guests? Dance and play the summer away as part of our Signature Character team, here at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess! We are looking for actors to play the role of our Signature Mascot Characters for our annual Summer at the Princess event. Dressed in full costume, you will provide entertainment and amazing photo opportunities for families and individuals who are seeking summer fun!

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Resort Experience, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Dressing up in costume and playing the role of character for our summer event
• Remaining “in character” throughout the day to give event attendees a real and exciting experience
• When not in costume, assisting costumed colleagues with navigation, photos with guests, and guest interaction
• Spreading joy and bringing energy and enthusiasm to the event

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience acting and/or dancing or mascot roles
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Comfortable working in a full (head & body covering) costume
• Ability to follow direction, improvise actions, and stick to a character bio in order to bring the character to life
