Responsibilities
Assembler
• Assemble or install truck components on a truck as instructed using required hand tools and supplied power tools.
• Meet productivity and quality standards as you learn and perform multiple jobs and tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Perform job tasks in accordance with TOS (Truck Operating System, Daimler Truck North America’s Lean Management Tool) and other.

Material Handler
• Move material within Plant.
• Load and offload trucks.
• Locate and store material.
• Weigh out and count parts.
• Operate necessary equipment.
• Learn, access and utilize various portions of the IMS/MRP and Shoptech systems.
• Effectively operate kitting and sequencing operations, supermarkets, parts presentation, pick-to-light systems, tugger routes etc.
