Your role We search two summer trainees to work as a part of Supply Chain Management team for 3-4 months during 2.5.-30.9.2022 (agreed separately based on your preference). The assignment is about Act as a substitute for the operational buyer. There are two Internships, one for the Operational Department and one for the Project Department. You will view material needs from the MRP and place orders for Eaton's internal factories. Your responsibilities include among others to monitor order confirmations and investigate undelivered deliveries, monitor the cargo status of materials, and administrate the T2 table. You will be the one sending forecasts to Eaton´s own factories and distribution centers, check invoices and premium freight applications and perform OTD reporting for external vendors. In Project Department, you will view material requirements from the MRP and place orders for external vendors, make project purchases from external suppliers, monitor order confirmations, and investigate undelivered deliveries. You will similarly monitor the cargo status of materials, send forecasts to external vendors, cover invoicing, premium freight applications and perform OTD reporting for external vendors As SCM Interns you will perform customs reporting (intrastat), conduct purchase data cleanups and replenishment in SAP -project. You will participate in department projects and Continuous Improvement projects. We offer you the possibility to work with Supply Chain Management from end to end. Qualifications What we look for We search for two summer trainees in Supply Chain Management. Preferably you currently study supply chain management or equivalent study program and you currently are finishing your 3rd, 4th or 5th year of your studies. You are great team player. You have great soft skills; you are motivated and curious to learn more. You have solid skills with MS Office tools, and you are technically savvy. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in both English and Finnish are needed. Knowledge of on SCM tools and SAP would be an advantage. Are you interested?
