Job Description
The Department

Among various duties of “External Affairs Department (EA)”, one of the key roles within the Club is to act as a bridge between the Club and external stakeholders on gambling and regulatory matters. The department is responsible for strategize and implement overall stakeholder engagement strategies / plans to support the Club’s betting operation as well as other business critical issues. EA also formulates plans and strategies in supporting business departments by managing regulatory matters pertaining to the Club’s overall operation. It also oversees the Club’s Responsible Gambling Policy and practices to ensure that they are on par with international best practices; and is responsible for raising public awareness on the Club’s efforts in this area.

The Job
You will:
  • Conduct desktop research on issues relevant to the Club and district personalities, local organizations and to establish and maintain an up-to-date community database.
  • Help maintain a timely record of the volunteer teams, and carry out volunteer services for the district-wide community events.
About You
What we look for:
  • A university student in Social Science, Communication or other related discipline;
  • Hands-on skills of MS Office and PowerPoint applications, good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Passion for community involvement, strong interest in volunteer works or community affairs;
  • Knowledge about community affairs at district level will be an advantage.
Terms of Employment

Temporary contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.

Employment period: 2 months.
