Summer Intern in Service Supply Chain At Eaton, Critical Power Solutions (CPS) is the team of specialists responsible for meeting our customers’ Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) needs around the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. We’re looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our team! This role is an approximately 3-4 months´ fixed-term internship (employment´s length agreed separately with the canödidate) with a possible option to continue to work thesis assignment. Your key deliverables: As a Summer Intern in SSCM you will be supporting our Service Supply Chain and Project Engineering teams with various project related tasks. Other responsibilities might include: Controlling and monitoring inventory of spare parts according to EOL (End of Product Life)-, supplier-, and inventory management policies Purchasing spare parts on-time and cost-efficiently from internal and external suppliers Maintaining article numbers of spare parts in the item master of ERP according to EMEA EOL policy as well as providing support for EMEA Service Organization to maintain their item masters Maintaining spare part catalog and price lists according to EMEA spare part pricing policy as well as providing support to EMEA Service Organization to maintain their own spare part price lists Qualifications Who is a suitable candidate? You study your Bachelor´s and/or Master´s in Science/Logistics/SCM/Business Administration or similar You have gained some experience in supply chain related activities You are a keen user in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is considered an advantage You are hard-working team player with a pro-active and flexible approach You have ability to focus on problem-solving and have customer-oriented mindset Fluency in English is mandatory Strong verbal and written communication skills You can join the team as soon as possible We would like to hear about you!
