This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Control, monitor and supervise the project construction works for electrical & mechanical systems
• Assist in daily inspection, workmanship monitoring, testing and commissioning of project construction works, including handover and defects inspection
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the works are conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact to daily operations and completed on time
• Carry out fault attendance and rectification works
• Prepare defect lists during handover inspection and follow up with the contractors on defect rectification work. Maintain comprehensive daily work progress records and prepare progress report
• Monitor site progress and proactively identify interfacing and construction issues,  liaise with Project Engineers for solutions, and follow up with the contractor on the implementation of the solutions
• Carry out site survey to verify the onsite condition against as-built record to support design and construction
• Perform shift duties including overnight shift if required

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in site supervision of large scale electrical and mechanical engineering related projects.  Degree holder with 4 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
• Candidate without the above specified academic qualification but have 12 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
• Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker of Grade A or above is required
• Solid experience in airport works and/or large scale project implementation under a live operation environment is an advantage
• Proactive, service oriented and be able to work independently
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizing skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.  Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
