Job Description
The purpose of the role is to supervise processes for advice, disclosure, record keeping ,and complaints for AIA Advisers and other monitoring-related activity.

About the Role:

Some responsibilities include

  • Ensure that Advisers comply with the AIA process requirements including complaint handling and marketing activities

  • Assess the quality of record keeping and the suitability of advice provided

  • Diagnose trends that necessitate changes to processes, standards, systems or training to adhere to compliance

  • Identify and deliver coaching in conjunction with other stakeholders to ensure performance gaps are addressed

  • Manage technical content delivery, including coaching to Advisers

  • Responsible for maintaining the Supervision Framework to ensure it is complete and accurate

  • Assist with organising Professional Development days and adviser visits

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes to increase robustness and efficiency

About You:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Financial Services industry and products, including risk, home loans and investments

  • Thorough understanding of the requirements in relation to risk, home loans and investment products

  • Knowledge of FMCA, CCCFA and other applicable laws.

  • Well-developed analytical skills and practically sound judgement

  • Broad experience in the Financial industry including experience as a Financial Adviser

  • Experience with managing complaints within a Financial Service environment

  • Exposure to a third-party and in-house distribution environment
