How will you make an impact?

By leading your team and keeping facility equipment up and running. You will act as an educator to new employees, a sponsor to those that have the skills, a coach when encouraging, a counselor to solve employee problems and a director when directing those tough conversations.

What will you do?

• This is a hands-on position.
• Oversees staff that installs, inspects, repairs and maintains building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, waste management and utility systems.
• Assures that all electrical, mechanical and construction work is performed in conformance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Establish and maintain the building’s operational flexibility. Evaluate and carry out improvements for higher operational efficiency in plant utilities.
• Ensure all facilities works compliance with required specifications, regulatory requirements, quality of work and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of facilities operations in terms of cost, performance and efficiency.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• How will you get here?

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Education in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or other related trades strongly preferred
• A minimum of 4 years of facilities maintenance experience (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) is required
• Experience leading projects or teams is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proficient in basic computer skills, CMMS systems, DDC controls,
• Ability to write and follow LOTO and SOP procedures
• Able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, Vacuum systems, RODI water systems, CDA systems, troubleshoot 480 volts and below, café equipment and plumbing.
