Supervisor, Hygiene’s role involves supervisory of the food safety and hygiene management of all F&B outlets, outsource operators and catering services.
The position is accountable for daily implementation of food safety and hygiene requirements at cross departments levels through daily monitoring, document review, and verifications, in accordance with HACCP and internal guidelines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily verification of food safety program to ensure effective execution, through observation, document review, verification of procedure compliances
  • Deliver guidelines and procedures relating to the implementation, training and follow up of food safety & hygiene management system in accordance with the HACCP standards and requirements
  • Ensure the practicing food safety and hygiene standards are in compliance with local regulations and the HACCP requirements
  • Coordinate with culinary and service team to implement improvements to dairy operation on hygiene matters
  • Maintain HACCP documentation, keep and file records in a systematic manner
  • Perform and maintain routine microbiological analysis scheme and lab stock management
  • Provide food safety and hygiene education and training; and assist with food safety audits.
  • Review inspections reports and ensure corrective and follow up actions are taken in timely fashion
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time

Qualifications


Experience

  • Minimum of two year's experience in food safety or quality assurance or relevant experience in hospitality industry or catering operations.
  • Certification in HACCP or ISO quality management system

Education

  • Degree holder in food science or a related field is preferred

Skills / Competencies

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations, and must be analytical
  • Ability to coordinate and cooperate with others in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge and experience with HACCP or ISO 22000 an asset
  • Team player who able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good communication skills in both English & Chinese
  • Ability to work with computer programs such as MS Office suit
  • Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
  • Ability to work on overtime when needed
