Eaton’s Haina DR is currently seeking for a Supervisor Lean Manufacturing (CI) to join our team. Job Summary Develop and lead the CI Team to execute and support the plant CI initiatives to become Model Plant. Also lead and support on overall activities on the deployment of CIF and ELSS. Design and implement processes that can achieve the levels of required quality, customer service and manufacturing, providing technical support to maintain and improve the efficiency and productivity levels desired by the implementation of the Eaton Business System. Facilitate the development and deployment of plant-wide Eaton Lean Six Sigma strategies, resulting in implementation plans with SMART goals that are linked to business strategy and profit plans. Develop and implementing effective training plans for all levels of the organization that help develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture. Serve as an ELSS deployment leader by coordinating and monitoring projects and implementation plans and driving accountability throughout the organization and effectively integrating a lean management system. Provide Subject Matter Expert support on Lean management and tools. Job Responsibilities Lead ELSS VSM, 5S+ and Standard Work events, Kaizen Events/RIEs/BPIs leveraging other Lean tools as needed. Contribute to the development of CI strategic initiatives and business case elements related to cost, quality, and KPIs. Lead and participate in activities to improve Manufacturing/Business processes using lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Business Process Improvement. Lead the CIF and Eaton Lean Six Sigma deployment to integrate organizational goals. Lead and facilitate many structured problem-solving events using techniques (A3, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, etc.), including Kaizens, RIEs, etc. Serve as Lean Tool Subject Matter Expert (SME). Train and guide the design and layout of cells and manufacturing flow lines. Help the development and implementation of effective training plans for all levels of the organization that support a continuous improvement culture. Lead and coordinate Lean assessments and facilitate development of corrective action plans for area of responsibility; Lead ELSS self-assessments; Identify areas of opportunity within the 8 building blocks of CIF. Lead and monitor plant-wide ELSS training program; Conduct training for most of the Lean tools using Eaton standard training materials; Provide guidance on Lean Tools training for area of responsibility. Communicate basic EBS elements, tools & process, with emphasis on EBS Pull, Cost out, Lean Six Sigma tools, and CIF; Communicate ELSS assessment requirements and teach others on ELSS assessment criteria and requirements; Communicate OpA requirements and teach others OpA self-assessment process; Teach team and/or functional reports on where to access EBS tools & process. Lead the CI/ELSS deployment plan to integrate organizational goals; Facilitate prioritization of CI deployment and support changes in priorities based on business objectives; Identify leading and lagging indicators for your area of responsibility and promote the use of them in other areas; Use Prioritization techniques to drive alignment and select projects based on leading and lagging indicators. Lead and coach the CI Team under his responsibility in order to achieve plant and departmental goals. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor’s degree on industrial, electrical, or electromechanical engineering, business administration or other science. Preferable: Master’s degree in engineering, administration, or other science. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Lean Management Certification. Years and area of experience required: Minimum experience of 3-5 years in similar positions. Technical Knowledge: Full Bilingual (English / Spanish). Lean Tools: (a) able to identify applicable Lean tools in the given business environment and deploying them in an appropriate manner through training and Kaizen events; (b) able to see Lean tools, Kaizens / Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and Lean Management principles as part of a continuous improvement system; (c) able to assess deployment of applicable Lean tools and systems to identify and address gaps. Successful use of one or more Problem Solving tools to improve business metrics and results. Knowledge and use of Six sigma methodology. Project Management Knowledge. PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, MS Project y MS Visio.
