Job Description
Job Title: Supervisor, Order Scheduler
Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am to 515pm
Reporting to: Sr. Manager, Distribution Logistics
Location: Tuas South (company bus available 2-ways, Chinese Garden and Woodlands MRT station)
Description:
- Manage, analyze, and report on quarterly order status for each Division. Ensure all orders are shipped within the quarter for revenue recognise, and On Time Shipment (OTS) metrics are met for each Division. Drive order cycle reduction and order processing accuracy.
- Engage in effective partnerships with management and internal stakeholders ie. Customer Service, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, other global partners to replenish inventory in a timely manner and achieve unparalleled service delivery to customers.
- Identify, train, motivate and manage a Lean high performance flexible quality work team that is multi-skilled and knowledgeable in processes and systems to achieve service delivery excellence to customers in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Review open orders and past dues for instruments, spares and consumables for APAC region excluding Japan and take the necessary actions to fulfill the orders.
- Review instruments, spares and consumables inventory levels including managing “delivery blocks” to reserve items to open orders and ensure completeness of orders before shipment especially for L/C situations.
- Liaising with global planners or buyer/planners to expedite part shortage in US21 and SG31 to meet the order completeness and customer requested delivery dates.
- Coordinate part shipment and consolidation with ADC personnel by determining the best shipping dates and assisting with some shipping document work where applicable.
- Be the Super User for all our ERP system and be able to train new team member on our ERP system and order scheduling processes, and guiding them during the On the Job Training and Onboarding period.
- Engage in continuous improvement, automation and projects related to order processing function.
- Ensure that systems and procedures within the department are in compliance with ISO9001, ISO13485, QSR 21CFR, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and WHO Good Distribution Practice.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma with at least 10 years’ experience in customer care and/or order scheduling/planning
- At least 3-5 years supervisory experience of team members
- Hands on ERP system experience
- Resilient, committed and strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
