This opening is for 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM. This is a 12 hour, rotating 2/2/3 schedule.

How will you make an impact?

The Supervisor, Production Support (Facilities Cleaning) supervises and trains staff, ensures schedule adherence, and maintains a cGMP environment in relations to technicians who perform production operations in the support of the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for supervising a team of technicians who perform production operations in the support of the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics. These support activities consist of oversight of the facility cleaning operations. Responsibilities include supervision and training of staff, ensure schedule adherence, maintain a cGMP environment, document review and incident investigation resolutions, routine and some non-routine trouble-shooting decisions. Also accountable for the success and oversight of the manufacturing processes.
  • Direct supervision and management for day-to-day operations of staff, prioritizing assignments, developing staff, and focus on right the first time executions. 1-1s, shift meetings, scheduling, on-the-floor, promote safety and practices.
  • Collaboration daily with cross-functional departments to meet operational needs.
  • Technical support - trouble-shooting, detailed investigations, tracking and trending of equipment performance
  • Documentation - review, revise, create or develop procedures
  • Miscellaneous Administrative duties - Attendance tracking, coaching, development tracking, 1-1s, performance evaluations, hiring activities, provide support & leadership cross functionally
  • Lead Department /Special projects- start-up activities, change over activities, SMQ support updating MM#s, EHS initiatives
  • Training - oversee staff for compliance and performance. Ensure self-compliance for training, ensure new process and equipment training is understood and performed.
  • Maintain an environment of compliance and adherence to company standards / certifications - including regulatory guidelines, safety, and finance (tracking and spending).

How will you get here?
Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field (regulatory cleaning/manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Understanding of current regulatory requirements, manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Able to gown, wear PPE, and work successfully in a clean room environment
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work flexible work hours
