The Supervisor, Tooling and Injection is responsible for daily operation in the injection molding area. This role oversees injection molding operators’ safety, injection molding product quality, delivery, injection molding area’s cost and efficiency. During the MFE manufacturing preparation phase, this position is responsible for the injection molding area’s preparation, layout design, guarantee of tooling quality to smooth the mass production in MFE.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design the layout of the injection molding area with the consideration of efficiency in mass production;
• Responsible for the setup and trial after the injection molding equipment entering the site of MFE;
• Responsible for the culture training and skill training for the operators in injection molding area, be the role model to comply with MFE’s employee policy and MFE’s company culture.
• Quality assurance of injection moulds in MFE factory, maintenance and repair progress of in-plant or out-of-plant moulds.
• Regular check the potential safety risk in injection molding area, provide the safety training for injection molding area, to lest any safety accidents.
• Implement the quality manage system in injection molding area, ensure the compliance with ISO9001:2015.
• Support the EHS activities in injection molding area, to follow the request from EHS’s policy.
• Problem solving in the injection molding area, to support solving of quality and deliver issues related with injection molding.
• Daily track and control the delivery progress, to solve or escalate any deliver issues.
• Be responsible for the production efficiency &cost in injection molding area, analyze and improve the injection molding efficiency &cost.
• Support to establish the manage system in injection molding area, visualize the performance data in injection molding area to find and improve the bottleneck in production capacity.
• Standardize the skill in injection molding area, regular assess and upgrade employees’ skill.
• Build up the regular communication with employees to motivate injection molding operators.
• Quick respond and react on the other emergency and incidents in injection molding area.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in injection molding industry
• Experience in implementing new processes and trial for new injection molding equipment
• Experience with injection molding process
• Familiar with tooling structure and processing technology.
• Familiar with IE method is a plus.
• Experience with toy industry is a plus.

EDUC ATION & SKILLS (COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS)

• Education above junior high school
• Skilled in communication and collaboration skills with operators.
• Be fluent in both oral and written Mandarin
• Strong ability to analyze problem and trouble-shooting.
• Office skills with Word, Excel and PPT
