We are looking for an action-oriented self-starter to join our AMER Training Leadership team. The Training Lead effectively drives strategic training priorities through seamless day-to-day operations, with special emphasis on transparency to progress of goals and strong stakeholder alignment. You will lead a team of internal Training Specialists in the successful delivery of Community Education, Resolutions and Specializations training programs, content support, regional training interventions, and change management initiatives.
Responsibilities
Reporting in to the Regional Training Manager, you are uniquely responsible for:
- Owning and managing the end-to-end people strategy and performance management for internal CERS Training Specialists. This includes planning, hiring, onboarding, talent development, retention management and team engagement.
- Ensuring the regional CERS Training Specialists facilitate the successful transference of the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required for ambassadors to perform the duties of their role.
- Ensuring the regional Volume & Specialty network is on track to meet headcount needs as mapped out in Capacity Plans by ensuring timely training that is facilitated by certified instructors.
- Executing on bi-annual team OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)as defined by the Regional Training Manager.
- Allocating team resources to achieve training team objectives.
- Ensuring the team is continuously aware of upcoming project, product, and process changes that will impact their work.
- Fostering and maintaining a strong, healthy relationship with multiple stakeholders across Training Programs, Service Excellence, Service Performance, Partner Management and Partner teams.
- Partnering with the CE/R and Specializations Training Program Managers to support change requests.
- Fielding training requests from Regional Operations Managers and Partner Relationship Managers, working with the Training team to assess and fulfill these requests.
- Ensuring the completion of assigned CERS Training projects and initiatives.
- Driving adherence to Airbnb's Training Standards.
- Identifying trends and reporting on data-driven feedback to improve training curricula.
Requirements
- 3+ years working in Training Operations.
- 3+ years of people and performance management experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills with ability to influence across various leadership levels.
- Proven ability to clearly communicate deadlines and effectively manage assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time.
- Strong business acumen, including strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; proven ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations; can balance the need for quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts.
- Experience with compiling, interpreting, and reporting technology, such as Tableau, Absorb, etc.
- Experience with effective allocation of resources and tracking.
- Proven ability to identify potential risks or issues with project implementations, and proactively drive communication with stakeholders across all levels.
