Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

·         Supervisory control of operations

o   Ensure and contribute to the management of the Generic Email Boxes

o   Demonstrate knowledge of all work phases respecting the department rules, assuring quality of work and a risk decrease

o   Ensure the supervision of all operational activities in accordance with the department’s procedures

o   Certify that the procedures are followed by the Team

o   Contribute to and support colleagues’ work in order to achieve the defined goals as a team

o   Ensure the validation’s  first level, performing daily controls and checklist controls

o   Ensure the first Birdie Control before the Team Leader’s validation

o   Participate in the writing or reviewing of the operational procedures and activity user guides

o   Ensure the accuracy of the operational checklists and monitor any changes

o   Organise and participate in conference calls related with the activity, including with the location’s colleagues

o   Escalate, whenever needed, to the Team Leader all kind of situations

o   Provide the necessary reports and statistics for the team

o   Support from a BIM perspective any Global or Local driven projects (ex: Department cross training, Hobart, ALC, Outlook migration)

o   Ensure that all new joiners are well integrated in the Team (ex: Prepare welcome pack, procedures, support with the creation of all the necessary accesses)

o   Organise and support any task migration from the location and/or shift of activity to another department

·         Team Management support

o   Carry out the first level of escalation for queries and issues

o   Support the training of newcomers by preparing and following up the training plans

o   Liaise with the Team Leader in order to comply with the Training Follow up Meeting Minutes

o   Assure management with report of activity and team related subjects to the Team Leader

o   Assist management in the key performance indicators (KPI) preparation

o   Evaluate daily work and individual performances to help, if necessary, on the annual appraisals

o   Identify and report training needs

o   Contribute to the Monthly Team Meetings organised by the Team Leader, sharing relevant information

o   Assist the TL with interviews

·         Ensure client (internal and external) satisfaction

o   Ensure that answers to client’s queries are provided in a timely and accurate manner

o   Participate, whenever needed, in DDV’s, RM OPS and Service Reviews

o   Verify the DDV’s presentations before the Team Leader’s verification

o   Perform the tasks and/or participate in projects needed for the efficient achievement of BNP Paribas Securities Services objectives

PROFILE

  • 12th Grade (minimum) or Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or similar (preferred option)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Client-oriented; strong work ethic is essential
  • Positive attitude and strong team spirit
