Eaton is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) & Quality Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON location. Position Overview: As a member of the Distribution Center support team, the primary function of the Continuous Improvement & Quality Supervisor is to improve organizational effectiveness and contribute to a culture of innovation and CI through the coordination and development of the CI framework, Industry 4.0 and Eaton Lean Six Sigma tools. All Tools support our Mississauga & Calgary Distribution Centers. The Continuous Improvement (CI) & Quality Supervisor need to have a passion for not being satisfied with the status quo. In this function you will: Influence cultural change with our employees and stakeholders. Help them understand and embrace continuous improvement and make it a regular part of what we do every day. Develop a platform for continuous improvement strategy and implement Lean tools and methodologies as part of an effective management operating system. Work with business units to implement Eaton Lean Six Sigma in conjunction with Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF). Designing procedures aimed at improving efficiencies, reducing cost and variability, eliminating waste, and improving safety standards. Supporting all efforts to build on the existing improvements and work with cross functional teams to initiate and deliver new improvement initiatives Key technical leader for improvement opportunities. Working with team to support analyzing data, change management, project management and project implementation Lead CI events (Kaizens, LSS Tools, Project based learning) Planning, facilitating and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology. Assist with risk analysis, Key Performance Indicators, Critical to Quality and control plans for process improvement Ensure the implementation of solutions that are efficient and improve overall workflow, quality, cost and Employee and Customer Experience Stay on top of project completion statuses, obstacles, problem resolution, timelines, recommendations, and conclusions. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field Minimum 2 years of Distribution, Manufacturing, Logistics or Supply Chain experience Training and facilitation experience Computer skills using MS Office tools Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Ability to commute to the Mississauga facility is a must Flexibility to work on shifts may be required occasionally as per business needs Preferred qualifications: PMP certification Training and/ or certification in Lean or Six Sigma Experience with quality systems. Experience with ISO9000 systems Advanced excel skills using Power BI Experience working in a union environment Position Criteria: Demonstrated track record of implementing & managing operational excellence initiatives and business improvement processes Demonstrated experience leading and implementing ISO Quality standard and practices, Quality Control Techniques, statistical processes etc. Excellent supervisory, communication, leadership, planning and organizational skills Predisposition to teach leaders a zero-defect mentality Skilled at data analysis for decision making Why Eaton?
