(1). Responsible for developing the editing standards for various types of essays. The most important is graduate thesis editing and proofreading. What is obvious is the huge demand by universities in China anxious to make thesis writting by their grads good enough to be published in order to obtain the degree. But to handle the future boom in submissions, we need to have a highly specialized team of editors whose work has to be based on highly standardized training to make every editor work within a approximately universally standardized framework and benchmark.The reason why I say “approximately” is that the subjectivity in editing is unavoidable. This part of work requires a lot of research and expertise in thesis editing and general editing , copy editing and Substantive editing.
(2). Responsible for recruiting new editors world wide and training them via an online system before they start working. Editors/Raters can be anywhere in the world.
(3). Responsible for actively getting involved in demand analysis before editing thesis for organizations or institutions.
(4). Development of internal content to be used for ongoing business.
(5). Responsible for the ultimate quality of editing and resolution of complaints from our corporate clients.
3. Benefits：
25000 RMB/month. Working visa to be taken care of.
Schedule is Mon to Fri, 9AM to 6PM. Overtime possible.

4. Required Skills & Abilities
• Master Degree in Journalism Preferred.
• 5+ years experience as an editor and 3+ years as supervisor,especially of academic essays like dissertations
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet strict deadlines, and have excellent planning skills since we have turn-around promise to our clients
• Experience in developing standards or benchmark in editing certain kind of essays especially dissertations
• Must have a positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated, and be a creative strategic planner.
