1. Conduct production process assessment on site and help suppliers to optimize their current process.

2. Coach factory team on quality engineering tools and quality control techniques to enhance the performance of quality management system on factory side. Give directions to statistical control tool for key vendors.

3. Work closely with factories to get solutions to the existing or potential quality issues.

4. Ensure factory employees including the related operating workers know Horizon’s quality standards clearly and the standards are strictly followed in bulk production.

5. Participate pre-production meeting at factories or review new products timely with factory team to jointly decide potential failures or risks and the CTQ for each product.

6. Regularly do patrol quality inspection on site to quickly grasp the actual quality status of Horizon’s products. Call special quality meetings with factory top management and push for improvement if any unacceptable quality issues found.

7. Handle customer’s inspection failures and quality complaints on site, and professionally reply by 8D, CAP, 5 why analysis report, fish bone chart and etc.

8. Support marketing and sourcing team identify new suppliers’ ability on product safety and quality.

9. Closely follow up new projects or orders/factories transferring process on site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Education: Bachelor degree or above

B. Preferred Major: Mechanical engineering or Management

C. Experience: 3 years or above experience on QA engineering or system promotion in trading company or toys manufacturing factory. Familiar with toy’s safety regulations like ASTM-F963 and EN-71. Understand the production procedure and quality requirement of hard goods like plastic, wooden, glass, ceramics, stuffing, paper, etc. Familiar with factory quality management systems like ISO9001. Be skilled at 7 QC tools, 8D, 5why, and CAP. Proficient in creating product specification, control plan, flow chart, procedure document and statistical analysis report.

D. Personality: honest, positive, self-motivated, team spirit, problem solver with good interpersonal skill

E. Result-driven and can perform under pressure

F. Good computer skill.

G. Good command of written English. Spoken English will be a plus.

H. Frequent travel required.
