• The Supplier Manager position is responsible for managing several Intel substrate suppliers with various package types to fulfill Intel outsourced Assembly Test factories worldwide.
• This senior position will be responsible for the supplier relationship management and will require close working relationship with the supplier's executive management.
• The Supplier Manager will be the primary point of contact and liaison between the supplier and Intel.
• The role is also expected to partner with a diverse stakeholder base to lead and develop multiyear commodity strategies based on business market intelligence long-term analysis of the commodity and the supply ecosystem.
• Acquires and maintains industry market and technical knowledge of commodities.
• Leads supplier sourcing selection and performance management.
• Negotiates purchasing contracts, statement of works, and pricing for goods and or services.
• Drives cost saving opportunities in partnership with suppliers and stakeholders to meet business objectives
• Develop new supply chain models for new or existing products or services.
• Ensures uninterrupted substrate supply to Intel's outsourced global factory network, tracks supplier capacity expansion plans, supports development activities to ensure the supplier is meeting Intel's technology roadmap, and monitors the supplier's sustainability programs to meet Intel and industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Supplier Management background managing large and complex suppliers. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience working at Assembly Test, substrates, or PCB industry in a global supply organization.
• MBA degree or Bachelor or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is preferred.
• Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
