As Supplier Quality Engineer at Logic Supply you investigate, analyze, and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects.

This is what your day looks like. You:

• work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported, and appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented.
• develop long‐term supplier relationships, generate and implement cost reduction ideas. You resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply, and actively manage suppliers to ensure there are no regressions with the implementation of new processes.
• maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule, and establish specific short/long term supplier quality goals.
• conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement. You communicate engineering and manufacturing specifications to supplier technical teams.
• proactively monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPIs, incl. supplier OTD (past due), DPPM and waste.
• champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non‐conformances.
• lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting Logic Supply’s requirements. Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability and throughput analysis, 6‐Sigma, 5S and Kaizen events
• drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base, and aide in the new, probationary and rejected supplier transition processes
• travel to supplier locations to resolve quality problems

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Supply Quality professional preferably from the IPC or motherboard industry. You can take action without being asked and you work best in a high-energy, fast growing environment. You speak and write English at a professional level.

This is you!

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering or business administration, or 10 years equivalent years of experience.
• Ten (10) years of experience in QA systems implementation and management, with five (5) years as a CQE/CQM in a medium-size manufacturing environment.
• You speak and write English at a professional level, and you communicate effectively.
• You have advanced computer skills (MS Excel).
• You have strong problem solving and time/work organizational skills, as well as strong process and data analytical skills.
• You have an understanding of project management (experience preferred), and you work well with diverse groups of people and you are able to function independently of direct supervision.
• You have knowledge of various quality system methodologies (8D, Lean, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, etc. preferred).
• You have a valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to travel primarily domestically - occasional internationally.
