We are looking forward to Supplier Quality Manager in Eaton’s Electrical APAC, based in Suzhou, China. Your essential responsibilities: Analyze and verify supplier quality management systems and production methods and procedures for manufacturing, testing and inspecting technical products. Manage the supply chain to ensure that suppliers comply with quality standards and requirements. Perform regular supplier audits, establishing schedules for reviewing quality performance, to ensure compliance and improve processes. Manage the supplier approval process, including visiting suppliers as necessary, conducting supplier process audits, and reporting on performance and capacity metrics. Perform source inspections, and document review of parts and products manufactured by suppliers. Identify technical problems with suppliers and implement corrective actions to ensure continuity of supply chain. Use engineering expertise to increase supplier quality reliability, and conduct capability assessments. Monitor, communicate and improve supply chain KPI’s, including supplier on time delivery and non-conformance metrics. Implement problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non‐conformances. Initiate and track supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), communicating with suppliers to obtain effective and timely corrective actions to prevent recurrence of product defects. Lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting internal and customer requirements. Establish specific short/long term supplier quality goals. Monitor activities pertaining to the completeness and current revision levels of quality production documents and implement change control and configuration management procedures. Coordinate activities concerned with technical and Lean developments. Participate in engineering change order activities, material review boards, and change control as required. Champion the quality management system and promote the quality culture; address and correct quality non-compliance, based on root-cause analysis. Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, and continual process improvement. Supplier Issue dealing and customer complaint response. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications If you are: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred 10 years+ experience in supplier quality management field 5 Year on Manufacturing supplier management Driving for results and Decision Marking Demonstrated supplier management skills Decision maker and risk assessment Quality tools mastering: 8D/KT/6 Sigma/MSA/SPC etc. and good quality problem solving skills Advanced interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility with customers, suppliers, and across all levels in the business Listening, patience and conflict management Perseverance and drive result skill Yes!
