Job Description
1. Co-work with sourcing, product manager, engineering for supplier development and qualification. 2. Work with supplier in new project development phase to ensure product meet Eaton specification, safety and compliance requirements. 3. Champion APQP activites, review and validation supplier deliverables 4. Set up quality goals and key supplier metrics, establish process in driving supplier continual improvement and labeling product quality improvement. 5. Lead quality problem solving with supplier, ensure solid root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. 6. Perform audits, supplier readiness assessment, process validation, to ensure successful launch of product in accordance with Eaton requirements 7. Manage the brand labeling quality performance to ensure supplier can meet Eaton request. Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar discipline Years and area of experience required: 10+ years exoerience in supplier development/supplier quality including Brand labeling management Technical knowledge: 1.Experience in supplier development process and supplier quality management. 2.Proficient use of quality tools such as FMEA, CP, MSA/GR&R, FAI, Cpk/SPC, PPAP 3.Solid understanding of problem solving tools like 5-Why, 8D 4.Knowledge in ISO 9001 requirements and auditing experience 5.Fimiliar with UPS and related product Soft skills: 1.Excellent communication skills 2.Build strong internal and external relationship 3.Proactive and have a say from quality perspective, but also collobrative on a team 4.Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
