Responsibility

1. Evaluate, establish and develop reliable suppliers for quality, service, price and local content requirements. Achieve the target of the annual personal goals in the performance evaluation.

2. Administer departmental objectives and achieve department target.

3. Implement the related actions in APQP phase for new projects.

4. Administer corporate and departmental procedures.

5. Maintain effective relations with peers, colleagues and management.

6. Implement SQTS, SRS and CMTS process.

7. Coordinate resolution of supplier quality problems.

8. Perform Potential Supplier Assessments.

9. Serve as the primary liaison between manufacturing and the supplier for quality.

10. Maintain required documentation and files.

11. Support the plans, material cost reduction goals and buyer business plans.

12. Develop and coordinate supplier training in DGP procedures and requirements.

Qualification

1. Bachelor degree with a major in engineering or equivalent. Desirable course work would include probability and / or statistics

2. Minimum of 5 year of experience in manufacturing , quality or engineering

3. Proficient in print reading and interpretation and part measurement

4. Demonstrated knowledge of geometric design and tolerance and gage design and function

5. Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control and design of experiments

6. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, facilities and equipment

7. TS16949 knowledge is required.

8. Proficient oral & written English skills

9. Knowledge of corporate and division supplier quality standards, policies and procedures

10. Demonstrated ability to investigate quality problems and to apply sound technical judgment to develop possible solutions

11. Proficient oral and written communication skills

12. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to effectively lead, motivate and facilitate others in group situations
